Patricia June Bannon, 81, formerly of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Elmcroft of Chippewa.
Born July 1, 1934 in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Gertrude McNichols. Patricia retired as a registered nurse with over 30 years of patient care under her belt, was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s, and a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Monaca. Besides her love of singing and music, Patricia also enjoyed crocheting in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Bannon, Jr., a daughter, Theresa L. Bannon, an infant son, John Michael Bannon, and a son-in-law, Louis Henry.
She is survived by a son James (Sharon) Bannon, and a daughter, Mary Henry, all of Rochester, seven grandchildren, Jason Bannon, Connecticut, T.J. Fenn, California, Jennifer Cox, Beaver Falls, Justin and Nicholas Henry, both of Rochester, and Robyn and Raymond Bannon, Illinois, along with seven great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4 pm until 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 pm by Fr. Michael Ruffalo. Interment will take place at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina, CA where Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband.
