Patricia M. Finnerty Ellsworth, 88, of Beaver, PA, died at home on March 20, 2021 surrounded by her children. Born on January 1, 1933, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Martin and Teresa Finnerty. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, James P. Ellsworth, an infant son, Edward, seven loving sisters and their husbands, Theresa Helen (Richard “Spike”), Dorothy (Ken), Rita (Bill), Ruth (Frank), Gertrude (Don), Mary (Walt), and Martina (Jack), and a brother-in-law, Jack. She was a devoted mother of 4 children: James (Olga) of Bethel Park, PA, Michael (Susan) of Boardman, OH, John (Bridget) of Peters Township, PA, and Mary (Jeff) Pastore of Hartville, OH. In addition, she is survived by 10 grandchildren: Shannon, Kacey, Kaitlyn, Maura, Patrick, Matthew and Colleen Ellsworth, and Caroline, Nolan, and Connor Pastore. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. She and Jim were married in 1957 and settled in Beaver. Since moving to Beaver, she was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church and enjoyed volunteering in many activities of the church. She and Jim regularly attended daily mass and were blessed with many good friends in the parish. She volunteered at the Beaver Memorial Library, and the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center for many years. Her greatest loves were her family, her faith, and her friends. She and Jim attended more recitals, plays, concerts, programs, and sporting events for her grandchildren than they could ever count. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and annual vacations with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her family cherishes many happy memories of these times together. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at 10 am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Beaver, PA by her pastor, Father Robert Miller, and her nephew, Very Reverend, John Sheridan.
