Patricia Katherine Hurst, 90, of Beaver passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born September 3, 1927 in Sharpsville, PA, she was a daughter of the late George and Lillian Blue Huth. A Beaver resident for 70 years, Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her spare time, she could be found on the golf course, traveling with her husband Chick, reading, or knitting with the Chick with Sticks group at the Beaver Area Memorial Library. Patricia was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.
Patricia has been reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband Charles R. “Chick” Hurst who passed away in 2007. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Buckenheimer; and her brother, James Huth.
She will be greatly missed by two sons, Michael (Cindy) Hurst, Chippewa Twp., and Timothy (Tammy) Hurst, TN; one daughter, Paula (Mitch) Reid, AR; grandchildren, Chuck (Leah) Hurst, South Beaver, and Sherri (Scott) Hurst-Norman, Chippewa Twp.; Andrew (Nicole) Reid, Matthew (Melanie) Reid, and Claire (Nick) Statler, all of Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Talia and Cole Hurst, Charlotte Norman, Ava Rose, Seth, Madalyn, and Mitchell Reid, and Reid Katherine Statler; five nieces, Lou Ann Buckenheimer, Kathy McCollim, Susan Jones, Jan Mohrbacher, and Debbie Paley, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
As Patricia wished, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to the Beaver Area Memorial Library or the Beaver County Foundation-Beaver County Bar Association Fund.
