Patricia Mccreary

Patricia (Pat) McCreary (nee Black) 86, of Beaver, died of natural causes in her home on Friday, October 20, 2017. Born April 4, 1931, in Bordentown, N.J. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Nance Black.

She graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 1952. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Thomas W. McCreary III. Her greatest loves were her family and her friends. She was the devoted mother of six children:

Anne O’Connor, Mary (William) Miossi, Thomas (Alison) McCreary, Patricia (Monte) Luzadder, Robert (Erin) McCreary and Anthony McCreary.

She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren: Catherine (Jorge) Herrera, William (Molly) Miossi, Thomas and Jack Miossi; Madeleine, Claire, Thomas and Harry McCreary; Joe, Jack and Anna Luzadder; Michael, Mae, Owen and Colm McCreary. She is also survived by three great grandchildren: Dottie Miossi, Mary and Tomas Herrera as well as seventeen beloved nieces and nephews.

Pat was committed to sharing her joy of life and energy through community involvement that included active participation in the New Brighton Croation Kolo Dance Ensemble, years as a Beaver High School Football Mother and three decades of volunteer work at the Beaver Library.

Friends will be received Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 in the Noll Funeral Home Inc, 333 Third Street, Beaver.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, PA by Father Robert McCreary, OFM Cap.

Interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at Nollfuneral.com.
