Patricia Schad Meiers

Patricia Schad, 72 of Brighton Township, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home.

Born February 20, 1943 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alberta Meiers, and had been a resident of Beaver for 45 years. She was the heart and soul of her family, and was involved in many organizations, including Beaver Welcome Wagon Hostess, past president of Fifth Wheel, a former Den Mother, Christian Assembly Prayer Chain, Meal Ministry, supporter of Children’s International, and a volunteer at Heritage Valley Beaver. She loved bowling, and the ocean and all water sports, including water skiing and swimming.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 51 years, Larry Schad, a son, Ron (Lori) Schad, Center Township, two daughters, Kathy Schad, Vanport, Missy (Dan) McNutt, Darlington, adopted son, Rich (Melanie) Kessler, Pittsburgh, a sister, Jan Eslami, Pittsburgh, a sister-in-law, Lorraine McManus, Pittsburgh, three grandchildren, Jim Barnes II, Nathan and Kyle Schad, and a great-grandson, Jimmy Barnes III.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am at Christian Assembly Church, Ohioville by her Pastor Bill Anzevino. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
