Patsy Verrico

Patsy Verrico, 93, of Brighton Twp., passed away at his home Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Born May 4, 1926 in Rochester, he was a son of the late James and Genevieve Verrico. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Patsy completed two tours of duty during WWII. He returned to the local area to work for Conrail where he retired as a car inspector with over 30 years of service. In his spare time, Patsy loved to garden. He was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.

Patsy will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 66 years, Betty David Verrico, Brighton Twp.; his son, David M. Verrico, Pittsburgh; one brother, James (Shirley) Verrico, Jr., East Rochester; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Verrico Faller, sisters, Genevieve Beckert, Mary Louise Fusco, and Jeanette Lombardo; and brothers, Emmerick, Louis, Patsy’s twin brother, Philip, and John who passed as an infant.

Friends will be received Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.
