Paul John Braun

Paul John Braun, 90 of Beaver passed away early Sunday morning, May 27, 2018 with his family at his side. Born August 17, 1927 in Beaver Falls, PA, he was as a son of the late Arnold and Frieda Horn Braun and had been a resident of Beaver the past 60 years. A graduate of Beaver Falls High School and Geneva College, he was a chemist at the Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland and later for Ceramic Color in New Brighton. A faithful member of the Beaver United Methodist Church, he loved to go to the Senior Center to socialize and play Bingo. Paul also loved playing cards with friends, attending concerts, plays, and community dinners. Preceding him in death was his wife, Joanne Irvin Braun in 1998, 2 brothers, Arnold and George Braun and a sister, Amelia Lyday. Surviving is a son, Jay (Rebecca) Braun, Beaver, a daughter, Suzette (Tom) Russell, Portland, TX, his cherished grandchildren, Julia (James) Knezek, Longview, TX, Dr. Jennifer (Matthew) Werner, Richmond, TX, Bethany (Christopher) Turner, Red Lodge, MT, John Braun, Beaver, and 4 great grandchildren, Aiden and Carter Knezek, and Joshua and Charlotte Werner. Friends will be received Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St. Beaver, PA 15009 where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 by his pastor, Reverend Emmett Anderson. Private interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
