Paul O. Corak, 71, of Monaca, passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital, Allegheny Valley.

Born January 20, 1950, he was a son of the late Belle and Emil “Babe” Corak. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, James Vogel and Marty Corak; infant son, Archie Paul Corak; daughter Joni Rae Corak; and a special aunt, Martha “Aunt Mine” Vogel.

Paul will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 39-years, Leslie Blackwood Corak; and is also survived by sons, Matthew and Kelly Corak; brother, Eli (Patty) Corak; sisters-in-law, Virginia Adams and Michelle Corak; brothers-in-law, Rick (Mary Beth) Blackwood, James (Vickie) Blackwood, John (Karen) Blackwood, Mike (Jody) Blackwood, and Steve (Sherry) Blackwood; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his faithful furry friend and dinner buddy, Penny.

Paul was Lutheran by faith and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Beaver. A proud veteran of the U. S. Navy, he served in the Vietnam War, having been an ENFN. Paul enjoyed many diverse work experiences. He served as a union representative for USWA Local 8183 District 20 while employed at St. Joe Minerals, worked in retail management at Walmart, as a caretaker at Allegheny Valley School, and as a school bus driver for Rhodes Transportation and LIFE Beaver. Paul was also a loved bartender for many years at several of Monaca’s social clubs. He eventually retired to enjoy his fulfilled dream of his well-deserved oasis, The Backyard Pool, where his favorite pastime was entertaining friends and family.

Friends will be received Friday, January 7, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11 a.m., with Full Military Rites. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul’s name may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
