Paul Jefferson “Jeff” Lloyd, Jr., 55, of New Brighton, formerly of Beaver, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
Born June 14, 1961 in Lorain, OH, he was a son of Paul “Jeff” Lloyd, Sr. and Jean McClure Lloyd of Beaver.
Jeff will be lovingly remembered for his warm smile and giving spirit. Greeting his friends and those closest to him with a playful nickname he individually assigned to each, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A master mechanic, his hands were his tools and he would give of his talents selflessly. Jeff was also an outstanding musician, playing his trumpet to the delight of all who were lucky enough to be around him, and had a love of animals.
In addition to his parents Jeff, Sr. and Jean, he is survived by one cherished son, Brandon M. Lloyd, and his former wife, Lori Lloyd, both of Center Township; one sister, Essie (Chris) Commers, Norwood, MN; numerous nieces and nephews, his former sisters-in-law, and many co-workers and friends.
Jeff is now reunited with his son Paul “Jeff” Lloyd III who preceded him in death in 2006.
Friends will be received Saturday, September 3, 2016 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., from 3:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm. A private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
To honor Jeff’s memory, his family asks that you don’t turn away from someone who is in need of a compassionate helping hand. Instead, do what you can to give a bit of hope to someone who is struggling.
