Paul C. Kermiet, 70, of Brighton Township, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
Born November 23, 1947 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Miles and Audrey Kermiet. Paul left the area to proudly serve in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He returned to Brighton Twp. where he resided for the past 29 years, retiring from A.E.S. Monaca after a 15-year career. Paul was a member of the Beaver Valley Sportsman Club and Vanport Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder.
Paul will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 37 years, Darlene Gillespie Kermiet, Brighton Twp.; two daughters, Christine (John Pamer) Moye, Chippewa Twp., and Tara Kermiet, NC; his sister, Penny (John) Cline, VA; three cherished grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Devyn, and Deryn Moye; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Cindy Whittingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Donald Kermiet in 2003.
Friends will be received Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where all in attendance are asked to dress casually or in camo to honor Paul and his love of the outdoors. A funeral service will be conducted by his pastor, Reverend David Byers, Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Vanport Presbyterian Church, Vanport. A private interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
