Paul C. Richards

Paul C. Richards, 70, of Ohioville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 14, 1952, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles and Velma McGaffick Richards. Paul owned and operated Richards Garage in Ohioville, and later went onto be a switchboard operator at the Beaver County Courthouse for many years; and even continued to work there after losing his eyesight. He will be remembered for his heart of gold and sense of humor. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Launa Wetzel. Paul will be sadly missed by his children, Jennifer (Lonny) Bentz, Stephanie (Mike) Illig and Shane Wetzel; brother, Donnie (Vickie) Richards; grandchildren, Justice, Liberty, Joshua and Cody; nephew, Scott Richards; niece, Becky (Alex) Youngdahl; and great nieces, Lenny, Heidi and Ilyana. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Faith on 68, 398 PA-68, Rochester, PA 15074, on January 26, 2023 at 5:30 PM.
