Paula Dappenbrook Wilson

Paula Wilson Dappenbrook, 72 of Brighton Twp., passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 under the care of hospice with her daughter at her side.

Born October 31, 1942 in Ellwood City, she was a daughter of the late Robert “Red” and Hilda Zikeli Wilson. She had retired from Horsehead Corporation, Monaca, where she had worked over 30 years in the Human Resource department. Paula had attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellwood City and loved to read. Her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband of 50 years, Paul H. Dappenbrook, Jr. in 2012.

Surviving are her daughter, Debra (James) Owens, Canfield, OH, a son, Paul “Butch” (Debbie) Dappenbrook, Brighton Twp., 2 sisters, Margaret “Jane” Wilson, Beaver Falls, Carol (Griff) Clark, Ellwood City, 5 cherished grandchildren, Justin (Carvella) Fraser, Robert (Katie) Dappenbrook, Matthew Fraser, Stephanie Dappenbrook, Cecily Owens, and two great grandchildren, Mclean “Mac” and Natalie Fraser. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. by her pastor, Reverend Peggy Suhr-Barkley. Entombment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
