“Mom’s Celebration of Life” Phyllis M. Nutz (DiNuzzo), 92, of Midland, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2022, at St Barnabas-Beaver Meadows, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 10, 1930 in Wheeling WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Biega, and a faithful and active member of St. Blaise Roman Catholic Parish, Midland, PA where she was a member of the Christian Mothers, Marion Guild, the choir, and money counters. She was raised in Aliquippa in “Plan 11” and “The Terrace” attending St. Titus Catholic School and was a proud graduate of Aliquippa High School. Phyllis had been a resident of Aliquippa, Beaver, and Midland her entire life. She married Ned (Natale) in 1957 and started her storied career as owner of various family-owned businesses: starting with Nutz’s (DiNuzzo) Market along Rt. 68 in Industry, PA then 26 years at the Willows Inn in Industry, PA focusing on wedding planning over the decades ensuring happiness for hundreds and hundreds of Beaver County brides on their special day. She then delivered her cheerful personality as greeter at DiNuzzo Private Wealth, Inc. in Beaver, PA until the age of 89. She was truly one of a kind and you only had to meet her once to know that. Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Natale “Ned” Nutz (DiNuzzo) in 1983 and 2 brothers Joe & Leo Biega. Phyllis is survived by her sons, P.J. (Renee) DiNuzzo with whom she resided and Mark (Jackie) DiNuzzo; 6 grandsons, Nick (Renee), Mike (Jessica), Patsy (Michaela), Matt (Chelsea), Anthony (Eleanor) and Chris; 3 great grandchildren; Lucca, Estelle and Pasquale; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received for a CELEBRATION OF MOM’s LIFE on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 3rd Street, Beaver, PA. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Blaise Roman Catholic Parish, Midland, PA. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
