Ralph C. Deangelo, Sr.

Ralph C. DeAngelo, Sr., 84, of Ohioville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Born October 12, 1934 in Midland, he was a son of Antonia Newtz Clements. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Ralph served as a sergeant with the 1st Airborne Battle Group 506th Infantry. He worked as a scarfer at Crucible Steel, Colt Industries, Midland, and was a member of the Midland Sportsman’s Club. In his spare time, Ralph could be found fishing, hunting, and shooting pool.

Ralph will be greatly missed by his wife of 58 years, Jeanne DeAngelo; a son, Ralph DeAngelo, Jr.; daughters, Pamela Lucas, Jeanne and Alycia DeAngelo; sisters, Wenda Stuble and Patricia Barney; grandchildren, Christopher Baer, Sean (Candy) Baer, Sara (Jeff) Calcagno, Anthony Lucas, Travis Lucas, Quinlan DeAngelo, Kailee Lucas, and Giovanni DeAngelo; along with great-grandchildren, Zariah Baer and John Calcagno, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Baer; a brother, Anthony J. DeAngelo; son-in-law, Robert Baer, Jr.; sister-in-law, Mieko DeAngelo; brother-in-law, Pete Barney, Jr.; and longtime friend, Jim Pantoni.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Parish, Midland. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, especially Angie, Lynne, and Emily, along with Ralph’s granddaughter Sara for taking excellent care of him in his final days.
