Raymond Charles Thompson

Raymond Charles Thompson, of Beaver, passed away very unexpectedly in the early hours on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

He was born March 6,1972, in Saint Joseph, Michigan. He was the son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Englebright) Thompson.

Ray will be greatly missed by his children Timothy (Kristina), Christopher, and Grace along with his wife Dawn Ann (Hanshaw) Thompson, and granddaughter MaryJane. As well as his dogs: Brandi, Whiskey, Rose, Toby, Tiny, Rain, Valentine, Lavender, and grand puppy Bear (Boog).

Ray worked for Mine Safety Appliances as a lead EMC specialist for 30 years. He was a devoted sports fanatic and loved watching the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago Cubs, and Nascar. He also coached Tim in baseball, Chris in football and baseball, and Grace in softball where he was her hitting coach and catcher at pitching lessons. He was also an avid bowler at Baden Bowl. He loved sitting on the couch watching TV with his pups laying around him, picking on the kids with his great one liners, or tinkering with Chris in the garage with many house projects.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents as well as his four-legged best friends Jax and Jody.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 28, and Thursday, October 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009.
