Rhoda A. Holbein

Rhoda A. Holbein, 89, of Kettering, OH, formerly of Brighton Twp., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 20, 2018.

Born May 6, 1929 in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary McCaskey Hollerman. Rhoda will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother. She was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church, Beaver, volunteering her time with the Women of Hope, and also with the Crimson Line Auxiliary, Brighton Twp.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband Wilson E. Holbein in 2005.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Sullivan, Dayton, OH; her son, David (Ginny) Holbein, Beaver; her four grandchildren, Julia (Chris) Orban, Jennifer (Jeremy) Downey, Joy Sullivan, and Kiera Holbein; her great-grandchildren, Sylvia, Rosemary, Rowan, Andre, and Armani.

Friends will be received Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Freda Snyder, Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Brighton Twp. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
