Richard M. (Dick) Lamantia

Midland—Richard “Dick” Matthew LaMantia, of Midland, PA, died November 17th, 2023 at the age of 79. Born February 10, 1944 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Matthew and Mary Dimitroff LaMantia of Midland. He retired from BASF and has been a faithful member of Christian Assembly Family Church since 1982. He was also a proud veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Barry LaMantia, sister-in-law Joyce LaMantia, and nieces Francis Vogel, née LaMantia, and Shari Moates, née LaMantia. He leaves behind the love of his life, Claudette Jane LaMantia, née Cirelli, and many loving nieces and nephews. Dick loved gardening, animals, chocolate cake, and his yearly voyages to Florida with their dear cousins Daniel and Janice Coratto. Dick had a very generous spirit and helped many people throughout his life. Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-6 pm and Monday from 10-11 am, with the funeral service immediately following Monday at Christian Assembly Family Church at 6241 Tuscarawas Road, Industry, PA 15052.
