Richard B. "Rik" Beardmore

Dawson Ridge has lost a favorite son…

Richard Byron “Rik” Beardmore, 62, of Beaver, passed away Wednesday morning, March 6, 2019 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born May 9, 1956 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Richard and Beverly (Evans) Beardmore. Rik was the owner and CEO of Allied Pest Control, Beaver and a founding member of “The Log” in Dawson Ridge. A devoted son, caring husband, and loving father, he enjoyed sponsoring and coaching his son’s many athletic teams.

Rik will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Martha “Martie” Beardmore; cherished son, Benjamin “Ben” Beardmore; brothers, Robbi and Byron (Deanna) Beardmore; aunt, Marcella Evans; nieces, Taylor and Madison Beardmore, and Jennifer and Janelle Johnston; and nephews, Dennis and Bruce Johnston.

In addition to his parents, Rik was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend Dr. Byron and Anna Evans, and Rudy and Hilda Rebich; sister-in-law, Jane Johnston; aunt, Minnie Evans; and uncle, Clark Evans.

Friends will be received during a memorial visitation Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
