Richard D. Walls

Richard D. Walls, 91, of Brighton Twp., passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born January 30, 1930 in Altoona, PA, he was a son of the late Ernest and Edna Mae Mickel Walls. Richard had a long career as an electrician with Arco Chemical (Nova). Upon his retirement, he became active with Rochester Meals on Wheels and Lifesteps. Richard was Presbyterian by faith, serving as an Elder, Deacon, and Sunday School teacher with Rochester First Presbyterian Church, before attending Beaver First Presbyterian.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 66-years, Joyce Walls; and his daughter, Patricia Walls.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Linda Bonnar, and her husband Sandy, Brighton Twp.; grandson, Kevin Bonnar, Brighton Twp.; granddaughter, Susan Patronik, and her husband David, Buffalo, NY; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Anna Patronik, Buffalo, NY; and a sister-in-law, Nellie Sypherd, FL.

A private funeral service was conducted by Reverend Jeff Arnold, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, followed by burial at Beaver Cemetery. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
