Roberta M. Ryder

Roberta (Bobbie) M. Ryder, 91 of Beaver passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Country Meadows in Bridgeville, PA. Born June 6, 1925 in Beaver, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Emma Staub McCleary and was a strong Christian and former member of the Park Presbyterian Church, Beaver. Bobbie was an avid golfer and had been a former member and served on the Women’s League of the Chartiers Country Club. She loved quilting, traveling, and reading, but her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ralph Patterson, Jr., in 1977, her second husband, Charles Ryder, in 2004, and her sister, Betty Hammond. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph R. (Sandy) Patterson III, Robinson Twp., Richard (Linda) Patterson, Sarasota, FL, Thomas R. (Diana) Patterson, Beaver, 7 grandchildren, Kathleen Patterson, Joe (Jen) Patterson, Tara (Rob) Nissen, Heather (Brenden) Brady, Amy (Andrew) Biza, Tom (Brandi) Patterson JR., Sarah (Craig) Nunamaker, and 9 great grandchildren, and her most special niece, Carol Reinertsen. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc, 333 Third St., Beaver. The service will be conducted by her nephew, Rev. Larry Reinertsen. Private interment at the Beaver Cemetery will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
