Roger E. Miller

November 12, 1941 — June 23, 2023

Roger (Bo) Emmett Miller, 81, of Beaver Falls, passed away on June 23, 2023, in his residence with his family by his side, after an 8-month long illness. He was a member of the Immanual Baptist Church, New Brighton, PA. He loved his horses, enjoyed his farm, and had a tremendous sense of humor that his illness could not take away. Bo belonged to the Laborers Union, Local 833 and retired in 1999. His family meant everything to him, and he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond measure. His family will miss his love and generosity. Bo enjoyed deer hunting with his son and goose hunting with friends Vic, Wally and Jim. Born November 12, 1941, in Monaca, he was the son of the late Emmett Dale and Nancy Elizabeth (Burge) Miller. Bo is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra (Stone) Miller, his daughter, Marcy (Carl) Lee, of Renfrew, PA, his son, Roger (Kathy) Miller, of Cranberry Twp, PA, three grandchildren, Casey (Matt) Barnett, of Meridian, PA, Aaron and Elaina Miller, of Cranberry Twp, PA, two great grandchildren, Gavin and Madison Barnett, brother, Fred (Patricia) Miller, of Monaca, PA, sisters, Marlene (Richard) Cox, of Negley, OH, Darlene (William) Bell, of Florida and sister-in-law Judy Miller, of Rochester, former son-in-law, Scott Brenner, of Butler, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shelby Leigh-Ann Brenner, brothers, Robert, Glenn “Buck”, and Leonard Miller, and sisters Betty Borkovic and Eva Jo Wilson. The family is planning a memorial service at the Immanual Baptist Church by Pastor Doug Toth, to be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the caring hospice of AHN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

The family of Roger E. “Bo” Miller who passed away on June 23, 2023, invites close friends and family members to join us for a “Celebration of Life” service. The service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 301 Wises Grove Road, New Brighton, PA 16066 at 10am on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Please join us to celebrate a life well lived.
