Roger L. Taylor, 74 of Ohioville went Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ unexpectedly, Monday morning, February 10, 2020 at his home.
Born December 2, 1945 in Waynesburg, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph and Opal Taylor. He faithfully attended the Ohioville Free Methodist Church, where he was active. Roger had retired from Bruce Mansfield after 39 years and loved to fish during his free time. His favorite activity was being with his family. A 1964 graduate of Rochester High School, he was a huge Western Beaver football fan as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 51 years, Joyce Giles Taylor, a son, Roger L. Taylor, Queen Creek, AZ, and a daughter Cynthia (William) Underwood, Monaca. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Charles E. (Janet) Taylor, New Brighton, William (Susan) Taylor, NC, a special cousin, Virginia “Ginger” Hennen, Beaver Falls, and his best friend and canine, Daisy.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a son, Scott Allan Taylor in 2016.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc, 333 Third St, Beaver where a funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 by Reverend Norman Eckert. Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Twp. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rogers name to Ohioville Free Methodist Church, 6464 Tuscarawas Rd, Midland, PA 15059.
