Ronald L. Greenwald, 68, of Brighton Township, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born January 30, 1947 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Earl and Hazel Greenwald. Ronald served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, returning to Brighton Township where he resided for 30 years. He retired from the Beaver County Times as an advertising sales executive in 2010 after 37 years. Upon retirement, he worked as a driver assistant for Life Beaver County. He was a faithful member of Pathway Church, Beaver Falls, the Sewickley VFW, and the Beaver Falls American Legion.
Surviving Ronald is his wife of 35 years, Deborah “Debby” Machen Greenwald, one son, Todd Ryan Greenwald, Troy, MO, a daughter, Lierin Marie (Andrew Nelson) Greenwald, Jacksonville, FL, a former daughter-in-law, Veronica Greenwald, Troy, MO, one sister, Vicki Lynn (Anthony) Russo, Bell Acres, a brother-in-law, James (Becky) Machen, Brighton Township, three grandchildren, Jaden Cruz, and Liam and Saiya Greenwald, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Pastor Ed Walsh Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at Pathway Church, Beaver Falls. Interment will follow at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
