Rose Jasper, 88, a longtime resident of Tamaqui Village, Vanport, passed away on May 25, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Rose was born August 30, 1927 in Lansford, PA to the late George and Anna Majcan Rogich. She retired after 36 years with Westinghouse as a spot welder. A faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Beaver, Rose was a spiritual person with a tremendous love for her church as well as a member of their Keenagers Club.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Ladd Jasper, two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Luke and Stella Rogic, Tom and Elva Rogic, Anna M. Rogic, a nephew, Luke Rogic, a great niece, Autumn Eve LaBuff, and a great nephew, Jason Cunningham.
Surviving Rose is one brother, George Rogic, MD, and ten nieces and nephews, George Rogic, Jr., MD, Monica Rogic, MT, Roselyn Rogic, MD, Mark Rogic, MD, Toni Cunning, OH, Faith Durham, FL, Hope Ashburn, NC, Christine Heyl, OH, Thomas Jasper, OH, and Dennis Jasper, OH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver. Interment will take place in Beaver Cemetery. Arrangements are being conducted by Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
