Rosella C. Brewer

Rosella C. Brewer, 84, of Beaver passed away at home, surrounded by her family, Monday evening, November 11, 2019.

Born August 23, 1935 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Harold W. and Rose Montague Simpson. Rosella graduated from Cathedral High School in Pittsburgh, and had formerly worked at a Beaver Falls doctor’s practice for nearly 20 years. She was a member of the Brighton Twp. Friendship Club, a former Girl Scout leader, and faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. Rosella was an avid reader and fond of all animals. Remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother, she especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rosella was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Charles A. Brewer in August of 2016; and her son, Charles W. Brewer in 1983.

Rosella will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Sharon Brewer Lacey, Wilmington, NC, and Maryalice (Rex) Reppert, Beaver; four grandchildren, Ben Reppert, Jennifer (Travis) Kent, Caitlin Reppert (Chad) Shipley, and Laurie Lacey; along with three great-grandchildren, Emery and Tristan Kent, and Ella Rose Shipley, and several close cousins, Cathy, Cheryl, Jackie, and Eileen.

Friends will be received Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. She will be laid to rest next to Charles and her son during a private interment at Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
