Russell E. Davis, 39, of New Sewickley Township passed away early Sunday morning, July 19, 2015 at Armstrong County Hospital, Kittanning, Pennsylvania as a result of a rattlesnake bite.
Born November 2, 1975 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of Stephen L. and Barbara Giron Davis of Industry and had been a resident of New Sewickley Township and Industry all of his life. Russell was a 1994 graduate of Western Beaver High School, he received his associate degree from ITT in Computer Science, and later, his bachelor degree from AIU. He currently was the Director of Forensics at Precise Inc, Pittsburgh and formerly worked as a computer forensic instructor at PTI, CCBC, and CCAC. He attended the Christian Assembly Church in Ohioville and was a member of the SOI #1878 Freedom, the Monaca American Legion, and was an avid outdoorsman, with his greatest passion being fishing.
Beside his parents Steve and Barb , Russell is survived by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Giron of Greensburg , a brother, Eric (Erica) Davis of Lisbon, Ohio, cherished nephews and a niece, Michael, Matthew, and Hannah and his girlfriend, Brooke Fraser of Rochester.
Friends will be received Wednesday, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third Street, Beaver, and on Thursday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Christian Assembly Church, Ohioville. The service will be conducted by Pastor Bill Anzivino. Private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Russell’s name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
