Ruth Schmoker Buxton

Ruth (Buxton) Schmoker, 91 of New Brighton passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. She is the last of 7 siblings to go to sleep in death. She is resting now.

She was known to many as a waitress and cook at the former Didio’s Restaurant in Rochester. Her hard work and generosity stood out to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Seitz. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Christina Burtyk; her grandchildren, Lisa and Bill Evans, Jeff and Lynn Burtyk, Mike and Jen Burtyk, Jodi and Todd Allen, and Jamie Seitz; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being conducted by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
