Ruth Ann Kern

Ruth Ann Kern, 80, of Brighton Township, passed away peacefully Friday, January 15, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born October 5, 1935 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Helen Lattanzio. A loving mother and homemaker, who enjoyed cooking for her family, she was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Kern in 2011 and a brother David Lattanzio.

She is survived by a son David (Jobeth) Kern, Winchester, VA, two daughters, Sandy (Doug) Fitzgerald, Brighton Township and Lynn (Mike) Doyle, Industry, five grandchildren, Chelsea Fitzgerald, Ephrata, PA, Dana Fitzgerald, Brighton Township, Michael Doyle, Industry, Evelyn and Jeremy Kern, Winchester, VA, and her beloved dog, Babe.

Friends will be received Monday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm in the Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. Interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
