Ruth A Kurcina

Ruth A. Kurcina, 90, of Tapestry Living, Moon Township, formerly of Ohioville, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. Born on July 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Antoinette (Huckenstein) Melcher. Along with her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kurcina and four siblings. Ruth will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Robyn Kucina; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy & Donald Pittser, Joyce & Koichi Kiyohara and Beth Kurcina; her grandchildren Jocelyn & John McCarty, Jason & Josee Pittser, Jen & Ryan DeCarlo, Kayla Pittser, Matthew Kurcina, Maris Kurcina, Jack Kiyohara and Casey Kiyohara. In addition, Ruth had seven great grandchildren. She was a faithful and devoted member of St Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish (formerly Presentation of the BVM) in Midland where she volunteered at the school and the bazaars for many years. Along with being a homemaker and mother, Ruth also owned a ceramic workshop which brought many family members working together through classes and craft shows. Friends will be received Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009, from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, Midland. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
