Ruth S. Mikulik

Ruth S. Mikulik, 81, of Bridgewater, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 13, 2016.

Born March 4, 1935, in Indiana, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Ellen Sharp Bourdess and had been a resident of Bridgewater for nearly 50 years.

For the past 20 years, Ruth’s family has owned and operated the Pit Stop Restaurant in Bridgewater. She would fill various roles there helping her family, but would usually be found doing what she loved most, visiting and talking with the customers. Ruth’s greatest passion in life was her faith and her family. She loved nothing better than being a mother and grandmother.

Preceding her in death was her husband, John R. Mikulik, Sr., in 1994; five brothers and six sisters.

She will be sadly missed by her family including her two sons, John R. Mikulik, Jr., Bridgewater; Charles A. Mikulik, Coshocton, OH; two daughters, Ellen (Gary) Unsworth, New Brighton; Mary Mikulik, Bridgewater; eight cherished grandchildren, Cristin, Sonia, Gary, Chelsea, Chuck, Zach, Ben, and Elizabeth, and four great-grandchildren, Micah, Madison, Skylyn and Isabella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m. by Pastor Paul Mabin of the City Reach Church in Beaver Falls. Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
