Ryan Leonard

Ryan Leonard, 29 of Hookstown passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, August 10, 2018.

Born January 3, 1989 in Farmville, VA, he was a son of Anne (Regina) Bidwell of New Brighton and Calvin (Deborah) Price, Crewe, VA. Ryan had lived most of his life in Hookstown and was a gifted writer. He had recently finished writing a book detailing a journey of adversity to triumph called “All My Broken Hearts”. The book is to be published in October. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and was an avid sports fan. He loved the LA Dodgers and music, but most importantly, his greatest love was his family and friends.

Surviving besides his mother, Anne, and his father, Calvin, is a son, Noah, two sisters, A-Lyce and Raven, his girlfriend, Jes Lockhart, Carnegie, maternal grandparents, Jimmie and Linda Leonard, paternal grandmother, Winnie Price, all of Crewe, VA, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. He also is survived by his cat, Fatty.
