Ryan D. Shorak

Ryan David Shorak, 37, of Ohioville, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016.

Born February 17, 1979 in Rochester, he was a son of Kathleen “Kate” Leasha, Brighton Township, and the late Walter G. Shorak. Ryan was a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard and board certified massage therapist, working the past few years for D & G Rentals, Beaver Falls. In his spare time, Ryan was active with medieval reenactments, was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and living off the land, and loved to play the guitar.

In addition to his mother Kate and her husband Dennis Leasha, Ryan is also survived by his wife Christy, cherished son, Liam Walter Shorak, New Springfield, OH, a brother, Adam W. (Lindsay) Shorak, Ohioville, one niece, Eden Roush, his Godson, Robert “Trey” Drogus, Chippewa Township, maternal grandparents, J. Norman and Nancy Ward, Brighton Township, paternal grandmother, Loretta “Baba” Shorak, Ohioville, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his Godparents, and many close friends.

Besides his father Walter who passed away in 1991, Ryan was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Shorak, and his uncle, Robert “Tiny” Shorak.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
