Sally L. Sell

Sally Lou Portman Sell, 85, of Beaver, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 29, 2018. Born on October 7, 1932 to the late Frederic and Lucile Garrett Portman, she was a full time stay at home Mom. She was a faithful member of Chapel Presbyterian Church, Beaver, giving her heart and life to Jesus Christ in 1981. Sally was a lifelong Beaver resident and enjoyed sitting on her porch greeting family, friends, and strangers. She enjoyed home decorating, biking, traveling with her husband Bob, and most of all, caring for her family. She was also a hospital volunteer and played bridge in card clubs with her life-long friends. Sally was blessed with a gift of playing piano by ear and loved to sing and play hymns, especially with her children. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her much-loved husband, Robert L. Sell (March, 2018); and an adored brother, Donald Garrett Portman (January, 2016) She will be greatly missed by her son, Dennis Lee (Margee) Sell; two daughters, Wendy Lee Sell (David) Witz, and Lori Lee Sell (Chesley) Delans; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday, July 6th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, to Sell-ebrate the life of Sally.
