Samuel J. Orr III

Samuel J. Orr, III, age 86, of Brighton Township, Beaver County, PA passed away on May 5, 2026, at 8:35am. Sam was born on January 3, 1940, the son of the late Robert L. Orr and Blanche D. Orr.

Sam was a graduate of Beaver High School, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and the University of Wisconsin Law School at Madison, Wisconsin. Sam practiced law from 1966 until the present time. He served in the District Attorney's Office in Beaver County in 1968-1969 and the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 1969 through 1977 including service as First Assistant.

Sam was predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, Eva Orr. Eva made Sam's life a joy way beyond what any person could ever expect.

He is survived by his siblings Julie Barr, Robert L. Orr, Jr., John D. Orr, Rebecca Orend and a very good friend, Jennifer Stephenson

He was predeceased by his beloved dogs, Heidi, Bridget, Penny, Henri, Mandy and the world's greatest cat, Toby.

Sam was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver where he had the opportunity to serve as an elder.

Loved ones and friends are welcome to join us at the Noll Funeral Home at 333 Third Street, Beaver, Pennsylvania, for visitation between 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church Beaver, 252 College Avenue, Beaver PA, 15009, led by his Pastor, Rev. Jeffrey Arnold, at 11am on Wednesday May 13, 2026.
