Sara Jean Bissell

Sara Jean Bissell, 82, of Syracuse, New York, formerly of Beaver, passed away on February 1, 2019 in Loretto Health and Rehabilitation in Syracuse, New York.

Born on May 5, 1936 in Ford City, PA, to the late Fader Wess and Mable Marie Wess Waugaman, she worked as a nurse at Beaver County Geriatric Center. Sara was active in the League of Woman Voters throughout her life and enjoyed knitting.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Bissell.

Surviving Sara are her two sons; Mark (Charlene) Bissell of Syracuse, and Kevin Bissell of Beaver; one daughter, Margaret Bissell of Winchester, WV; one sister Paula (Harold) Henry of Kittanning; and one grandson, Nicholas Bissell.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 from 4p-7p in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, Pa 15009. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
