Scott A. Taylor

Scott Allan Taylor, 42, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Ohioville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.

Born May 17, 1974, in Rochester, PA, Scott was the son of Roger and Joyce Giles Taylor of Ohioville. He was a 1992 graduate of Western Beaver High School and later graduated from Pittsburgh Diesel Institute in Wexford. Scott worked as a driver, mechanic and certified inspector in the trucking industry in Pennsylvania. After moving to Tucson, he was employed as a delivery driver for United Freight Services which serviced companies across southern Arizona. He was an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4903.

Along with his parents, Roger and Joyce, Scott is survived by his wife of nearly eight years, Deborah L. Taylor, Tucson, AZ; six stepchildren, Krystal L. McCaskey, Beaver Falls; MSgt John C. A. McCaskey, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ; Shane A. McCaskey, Palm Bay, FL; Daniel J. McCaskey, Warren, OH; Rebecca S. Stein, Austintown, OH; Emma M. McCaskey, Enon Valley; nine grandchildren, one brother, Roger L. Taylor, Jr., Queen Creek, AZ, and one sister, Cynthia (William) Underwood, Monaca Heights.

Scott was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Harold and Bertha Giles, as well as paternal grandparents, Ralph and Opal Taylor.

Friends will be received Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Norm Eckert on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
