Sharon K. Shephard

Sharon K. (Hildebrand) Shephard, 61, of Beaver passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Born February 3, 1956 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of Edith Hildebrand and the late Jack Hildebrand. Sharon graduated from Plum Senior High School in 1974 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree at George Washington University in 1984. A faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, she worked at the church as an administrative assistant. She was an avid reader, devoted Christian, and indulgent aunt, known by her family for her great compassion for others and her beautiful handwriting.

In addition to her mother Edith, she will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 38 years Ed Shephard, Beaver; four sisters, Ann (Peter) Kindfield, TN, Leigh (Everett) Warren, MD, Linda (Reid) Weimer, Beaver, and Julie Hildebrand, MD; one aunt, Peg (Rich) Nichols; father-in-law, Jim Shephard; nieces, Emma (Jake) Swanson, Anna Weimer, Bear Kindfield, and Madison and Sydney Warren; a nephew, Noah Kindfield; and grand-nephew, Oliver Swanson.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted by her pastor, Reverend Jeffrey Arnold, Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Beaver.
