Sheila R. Brown

Sheila Rae Brown, 86, of Ellwood City, formerly of Beaver, passed away on June 18, 2025, after a battle with Cancer at Creek Meadows.

Born October 14, 1938 in Bobtown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Beulah Hager. Sheila was a retired secretary and a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. She was a den mother, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Easter Seals, and the Beaver Library. In her spare time, Sheila loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles.

Along with her parents Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Brown Sr; sisters, Eleanor Tressler and Joyce Wilson.

Sheila will be greatly missed by her sons, Jeffery Lynn (Amy) Brown, John Francis (Toni Celeste) Brown; daughter, Tracy Renee (Regis) Brown Grote; grand-children, Jacob Samuel (Shannon) Brown, Sarah Taylor (Nicholas) Holmes, Andrew James Brown, Elizabeth Ann (Jeff) DuBarr, Kathleen Lynn(RC) Dunman, Frances Marie Brown; great-grandchildren, Jace Frank Holmes, Lottie Rae Holmes, Ada Marlene Brown, Carina Ann Brown, Tyler Joseph Dunman, Noah Mathew Dunman, Sarah Rose DuBarr; sister Janet Adams, several nieces and nephews, and her close friend, Lori Parshall.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1 p.m. until time of blessing service at 3 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home Inc, 333 Third Street, Beaver. Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
