Sheila Ann Germusa, 80, of Beaver, formerly of Midland, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Monday, June 28, 2021. Born November 28, 1940 in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Maye Ortner Rutherford. Sheila will be remembered as a dedicated educator, earning a Masters of Education from Duquesne University, while serving as an elementary teacher with the Midland School District for 21 years, retiring in 2003. She also worked as a teacher and Director of Religious Education at Presentation Roman Catholic School, Midland. A member of the Christian Mothers at both St. Blaise Parish and Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Sheila loved to travel in her spare time. Since moving to Beaver 13 years ago, she was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church. Sheila will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, George Germusa, Beaver; sons, George E. Germusa, Hanover Twp., Stephen J. Germusa, Vermilion, OH, and Michael Germusa, Beaver; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Ryan Bennett) Hall, and Erin and Samuel Germusa; along with great-grandchildren, Brayden, Amelia, and Avery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene F. Rutherford in 2008. Friends will be received Friday, July 2, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Valley, Saints Peter and Paul Church, Beaver. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
