Shirley J. Kosanovich

Shirley Jane Kosanovich of New Brighton, passed away at home on Monday, December 20, 2021. Born September 10, 1941 in New Brighton, PA to the late Leroy and Sara Liberty. Shirley was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, who spent her life taking care of others. She enjoyed riding up to the lake with her late husband, baking the perfect cakes, doing puzzle books, bingo, and spending time with family. She cherished the times that she spent with her special needs granddaughter, Lainey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kosanovich in 2000, and her son Edward in 2012. She will be sadly missed by her surviving sons Timothy, Douglas (Lisa), and Richard (Amy), all of New Brighton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Butch Liberty, and sister Donna Beckert; several nieces and nephews, and a special sister-in-law and friend, Norma Krechowski. Per her wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
