Shirley C. Smith

Shirley Cannon Smith, 78 of Beaver formerly of Midland passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Heritage Valley Beaver with her daughter and son at her side.

Born February 16, 1939 in Beaver, she was a daughter of the late James R. and Flora Mae Sims and had been a faithful member of the Chapel Presbyterian Church (P.C.A.), Brighton Twp.

Preceding her in death besides her parents, was her first husband, James D. Cannon in 1981, her second Husband, Jim Smith in 2012, and her son, Jonathan Cannon in 1997.

Surviving are her daughter, Joanna (Greg) Plunkett, Georgetown, PA, a son, Patrick Cannon, Midland, a sister, Jolene (Donald) Krentzman, Wallingford, PA, and 6 grandchildren, Chelsi, Steven, Andrew, Alicia, Alexis, and Amanda.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St. Beaver where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 am by her pastor, Reverend Steve Maker.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
