Stephen R. Rosepiler

Stephen Richard Rosepiler, 91, of Industry, passed away December 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver. Steve was born on August 10, 1927, he was the son of the late Mary and Joseph Rosepiler. He served in the United States Navy during WWII, during which time he was a participant in the atom bomb tests in the Pacific. Steve worked at Crucible Steel as a millwright for 40 years, but his real passion was working on his farm in Industry. He was married to his beloved wife, Katherine (Amthor) Rosepiler for 66 years until she passed away in 2015. Along with his wife, and parents, Steve is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Rosepiler; sister, Helen Jones, Mary Kinney, Betty Karolewski, and Margaret Kubala. Steve is survived by his son Thomas (Joyce) Rosepiler, of Industry; Two grandsons, Joseph Rosepiler of Industry and Stephen (Amy) Rosepiler of Marysville, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Tommy and Isabella Rosepiler of Marysville, Ohio; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday January 1, 2019 in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, PA 15059, from 4pm to 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 10:30am at St Blaise Parish, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland PA 15059, followed by Full Military Rites by the Beaver County Special Unit.
