Steve J. Kuzniar

Steve J. Kuzniar, 83, of Brighton Township, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, one day after his birthday, at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center, Beaver.

Born January 8, 1935 in St. Clairsville, OH, he was a son of the late Steve E. Kuzniar and Helen Kuzniar Fijewski. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Steve retired from the Blast Furnace Department of J&L/LTV Steel of Aliquippa after 42 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and making wine. Steve could be found helping his neighbors and friends, and spending weekends at the SNPJ in Enon Valley, where he took great pleasure in listening to music and dancing. He belonged to the GCU and PNA, #841, Monaca, and was a faithful member of Saint Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.

Steve will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Christina A. Morohovic Kuzniar; one son, Edward J. Kuzniar, Aliquippa; a daughter, Sandra D. (William) Morse, Beaver; one sister, Sally Ann Rinaldi, Ambridge; granddaughter Dominique Wolber; and step-grandsons, Zachary and Jacob Morse.

Friends will be received Friday, January 12, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated by Fr. Robert Miller, at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. Interment at Beaver Cemetery will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
