Sylvia M. Kent Roberts

Sylvia M. Roberts Kent, 84 of Vanport passed away Saturday December, 23, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, at Heritage Valley, Beaver surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 1, 1933 in Pine Bank, PA, she was a daughter of the late Blaine and Sarah Roberts and had been a resident of Vanport the past 32 years. She loved to play marbles, croquet, cards, spending time with her Great Grandchildren, and was well known for her amazing peanut butter fudge.

She is survived by her ever loving husband of 64 year, J. Scott Kent, a son, Richard Mark (Carol) Kent, Beaver Falls, a daughter, Sheri Lynn (Donald) Hinzman, Brighton Twp, a brother, Roy A. Roberts, Beaver, 6 cherished grandchildren, Jordan (Brooks) Canavesi, Travis (Jenny) Kent, Kyle Kent and Breanne (Mark Phillips) Kent, Christopher (Alicia) Hinzman, Katie (Jake) Hummel . Her 8 great grandchildren, Caden, Cruz, and Lyla Canavesi, Emery Rose , Tristan Kent, Izabella Phillips, and Max and Macy Hinzman. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Claire Roberts, Erie, PA, Lorraine Roberts, Beaver, PA and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her daughter, Kelly Marlene Kent in 2005 and 8 brothers, Ewing, John S., Lawrence, James, Robert, Blaine, Jr., John F. and William Roberts, and 2 sisters, Evelyn Houser and Ruth Ann Masters.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St, Beaver. A funeral service will be held Thursday at the Pine Bank Church at 11:00 am, followed by interment at the Pine Bank Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
