Theresa C. Kane

Theresa C. Kane, 79, of Ohioville, passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation following a brief illness with Cancer.

Born April 4, 1940 in Galway, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Patrick James Dolan.  After immigrating to the United States in 1960, she met and married her late husband, Francis “Frank” Kane, who passed away November 7, 1986.  She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Ohioville and was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family, Midland.

She is survived by her five children, Daniel Kane, Pooler, GA, Patrick Kane, Pooler, GA, Michael Kane, Virginia Beach, VA, Kevin (Kathleen) Kane, Fayetteville, NC, Maureen (Mathew) Vogel, Brighton Twp., 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Kane, Lisa Kane, Maura and Margaret Kane, Kaylee and Madelyn Vogel and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Smith and Lauren Marshall.  Theresa is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Maureen) Dolan of Ft Myers, FL, and Martin Dolan of Galway, Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis G. “Frank” Kane, a sister, Mary Dolan, and 2 daughters in law, Jeanie Reed-Kane, and Kayo Kane.

Friends will be received Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Blaise Church.  Private interment will take place at Holy Souls Cemetery, Coraopolis.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
