Thomas Michael Gomola, 73, of Ohioville, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver, with his daughters at his side.
Born February 16, 1943, in Rochester, he had been a resident of Ohioville all of his life. He retired in 2005 from Conrail at Conway Yards, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had attended Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Parish, Beaver. Tom had also been a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2005, Midland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carol Hollenbaugh Gomola on November 10, 2015, and two brothers.
Surviving are his two daughters, Suzanne Girting, Center Twp. and Juliet (James) Blandford, Annapolis, Md.; two brothers, James (Vicki) Gomola, Industry and Rick Gomola, California, and five cherished grandchildren, Nickolas, Matthew, and Hannah Girting, and Jake and Max Blandford.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 11 a.m. at the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver. The Blessing Service will be conducted by Father Bob Miller. Private entombment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum.
