Thomas P. Haffey

Thomas P. Haffey, Jr., 87 of Beaver, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice Heritage Valley Beaver.

A son of the late Thomas Sr. and Agnes Hallisey Haffey, he had been a resident of Beaver all of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter and owned numerous rental properties in Beaver, and had also worked as a real estate agent. A member of Saints Peter & Paul, Beaver, he was veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4940 and the Monaca American Legion.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents was his wife, Theresa Berner Haffey in 2008, and a sister Mary Haffey Decker.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas P. Haffey III, Patterson Township, Brian P. and Diane Haffey, Brighton Township, two sisters, Joan Roknick, Beaver, Eileen Morris, Michigan, and four grandchildren, Katelyn, Abigail, Connor and Tristan Haffey.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, Beaver, by Father Robert Miller. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
