Thomas D. Mckeel Jr.

Thomas D. McKeel, Jr., of Center Twp., left us on November 4, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver in his 85th year due to complications of pneumonia.

He was a son of the late Esther Adams McKeel and Thomas D. McKeel, Sr. Tom is the last survivor of his 10 siblings and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of McKeel’s Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years and will be sadly missed by his many customers. Tom was Worshipful Master of F&AM Lodge #791 Monaca-Center in 1985 and again in 1993. He served as lodge secretary for 18 years, and also had served as Exalted Ruler of the Rochester Elks.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Davidson McKeel, in 2007.

Surviving is his fiancée, Rev. G. Martin, Th.D.; two nieces, Della Lou Bryson and Nanette Petrella; special cousins, Sue and Cecil Griffith; his extended family and many friends.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Carl C. Neely.
