Thomas E. Roberts Jr.

Thomas E. Roberts, Jr., 77, of Beaver passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver surrounded by his family. Born February 16, 1941 in Meadville, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas E. Sr. and Elizabeth Luchansky Roberts. He was a member of the graduating class of 1959 from Beaver Area High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Tom was a faithful member of Vanport Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of the Fort McIntosh Club of Beaver. He worked, in multiple positions, at the U.S. Post Office in Beaver for 35 years, retiring in 1996. Preceding him in death besides his parents was his wife of 45 years, Joan R. Roberts in 2012. Surviving are a son, Thomas E. (Janet) Roberts III, Beaver, a daughter, Kimberly (Dana) Tritsch, Beaver and four grandchildren, Devyn and Cody Tritsch and Gabrielle and James Nero. He is also survived by his cherished black lab, Angel. Tom will always be remembered as being a kind and selfless gentleman. You could always find him in the outfield of his grandkids’ games or playing a competitive game of pool at the Fort McIntosh Club, then rushing home to be with his best friend, Angel. Friends will be received Friday December 28, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a service will be conducted on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11:00 am.
