Thomas A. Tuma

Thomas A. Tuma, 77, of Industry, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

Born May 19, 1945 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Andrew & Mary Tuma. Tom had been a resident of Industry for 52 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served two tours in Vietnam as a Sergeant. Tom retired in 1996, as a welder with the former Applied Energy Services, Potter Twp., and was a member of the American Legion, Beaver Valley Rifle Pistol Club and Saxon Club.

Tom will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 52 years, Tonette Pawkovich Tuma; daughters, Kimberly Tuma Sherod of Industry and Kelly (Jared) Fretz of Pittsburgh; brother, George Tuma of New Sewickley; grandchildren, DeSean, Tyreek & Dante Sherod and Evelyn & Jay Fretz; great-grandchildren, Laila, Samia & Martice Sherod.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 3 PM – 7 PM in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11 AM, officiated by Pastor Samson Covatch, at the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church, 400 Bridge Street, Beaver, PA 15009. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Thomas’ name to the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church 408 Bridge Street, Beaver, PA 15009, or the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15009.
